Thompson, who was named to the 2007 Big Ten All-Freshman team, will travel with some of the nation's best to New Orleans for six days to play in a four-team tournament beginning on Feb. 19.          <description><![CDATA[Senior Kevin Reiman, a second-team All-Big Ten midfielder on the Michigan State men's soccer team, was selected in the supplemental draft of the MLS by Real Salt Lake. Reiman, a native of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., was the third pick (28th overall) of the third round of the supplemental draft, a four-round draft that is added on to the Superdraft, which was held earlier this month. Reiman joins senior teammate Rauwshan McKenzie as the two Spartan players to be invited to play in the MLS. He also becomes the fourth MSU player in the past four years to be selected.]]></description>

Michigan State men's soccer senior Rauwshan McKenzie is now in that select few, as he was selected by the Kansas City Wizards in the Major League Soccer Superdraft on Friday afternoon. The first-team All-Big Ten defender was picked in the fourth round and was the 53rd selection overall. In the process, he became the third Spartan in the last four years to be selected by Kansas City.]]></description>
