Former Spartan Allison Fouch Ties For Second at LPGA's Michelob ULTRA Open
In the defining moment of her young professional golf career, former Michigan State women's golf standout Allison Fouch chipped in for birdie on the 18th hole Sunday to post a seven-under par 64 and ultimately tie for second at this weekend's LPGA Michelob ULTRA Open at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, Va.

MSU Women's Golf Miss NCAA Championship Berth By One Stroke
The Michigan State women's golf team's season ended on Saturday night, as they fell one stroke short of a qualifying position for the 2008 NCAA Championship. The Spartans shot a final round six-over par 294 at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Championship, being played at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif., but ended the tournament at 29-over par 893 (295-304-294) and in 11th place. Their final round team score was the fourth-lowest tally of the day.

Spartan Women's Golf 13th Thru 36 Holes at NCAA West Regional
The Michigan State women's golf team slipped down the leaderboard on Friday at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Championship, being played at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif., but they are still only four strokes out of the eighth and final NCAA Championship qualifying position. The Spartans, ranked No. 17 by Golfweek/Sagarin and the seventh seed in the regional, carded a second round 16-over par 304 to be in 13th place at 23-over par 599.

MSU Women's Golf Tied for Sixth After First Round of NCAA West Regional
The Michigan State women's golf team completed its first round of action on Thursday at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Championship, being played at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif. The Spartans, ranked No. 17 by Golfweek/Sagarin and the seventh seed in the regional, opened play with a seven-over par 295 to sit in a tie for sixth.

Women's Golf Begins Quest for NCAA Championship Appearance
Appearing in its 10th-straight NCAA Regional, the Michigan State women's golf team begins play on Thursday, May 8 at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Championship at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif. The Spartans tee off at 11:10 a.m. ET on Thursday, beginning the three-day, 54-hole qualifying event for the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship.

MSU Women's Golf Selected to 2008 NCAA West Regional
The Michigan State women's golf team was selected to participate in the 2008 NCAA West Regional Championship, announced this afternoon on a conference call by the NCAA offices. Competition will be held May 8-10 at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif.

Three Spartans Named to All-Big Ten Women's Golf Teams
Three members of the Michigan State women's golf team were named to the All-Big Ten teams, announced on Monday by the conference office. Senior Sara Brown and sophomore Laura Kueny were selected to the first team, while freshman Aimee Neff garnered second-team honors and was MSU's sportsmanship nominee.

MSU Women's Golf Places Second at 2008 Big Ten Championship
Michigan State shot a final-round score of 12-over par 300 to finish in second place at the 2008 Big Ten Women's Golf Championship at the Penn State Blue Course in University Park, Pa. The Spartans finished the tournament with a four-round total of 38-over par 1190 (292-303-295-300).

Michigan State Women's Golf Remains In Second Place After Third Round
The Michigan State women's golf team is in second place after three rounds at the 2008 Big Ten Championships at the Penn State Blue Course in University Park, Pa. The Spartans shot a third-round score of seven-over par 295, the second-best team score of the day, for a three-round total of 26-over par 890 (292-303-295). Purdue, however, remains in first place after a third-round score of two-under par 286 for a three-round total of eight-over par 872 (298-288-286).
