EAST LANSING, Mich. - Sophomore Rochelle Robinson had one of her most well-rounded performances of the season tonight, as she won or had a share of first place in three events - vault, bars and floor - and placed second in the all-around. However, the No. 14 Spartans dropped the dual meet, 195.325-194.050, to No. 12 Auburn inside Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.

Robinson began the night by winning the vault for the sixth time this season and for the 13th time in her career, tying a season-high with a 9.900. She followed that performance up with a 9.825 on the bars, which tied her for first with Julie Dwyer of Auburn. The sophomore would later close the night with a 9.825 on the floor to tie Auburn's A.J. Mills for the title. Robinson's all-around tally of 39.225, was the second best in her career and placed her second at the meet behind Dwyer (39.350). For the season, Robinson now has 12 individual wins and has pushed her total to 22 for her short MSU career.

In other notable performances tonight for the Spartans, sophomore Nicole Curler tied for third on the bars with a 9.800 and freshman Kelsey Morley finished alone in third on the beam with a 9.800.

Michigan State concludes the 2008 regular season on Friday, March 21 at No. 11 Arkansas.
